Canvas Wraps
Canvas wraps are a wonderful modern version of a mounted/framed canvas.
We manufacture our canvas wraps right here on-site. Because we manufacture our own stretcher bars, from raw basswood (sometimes kiln-dried pine), we are able to keep costs down, and provide wraps in any size.
After the proper amount or drying time, your canvas is lacquered with at least two coats and then has to dry again. After the appropriate time, we stretch the canvas across the four stretcher bars, using acid-free bonding agents to make sure the tension on the canvas is constant.
Larger canvas's will have corner and cross braces to ensure stability. You can expect your canvas to last long enough to handed down for generations... without color fading or canvas warping.
Using only the best canvas, ink, wood, and bonding agents ensures quality and consistency.
While the cost of a wrap is slightly higher than the cost of a mounted canvas, they are ready to be hung on your wall, so you save the cost of a frame.
